My name is Michelle, and I'm a Certified Dementia Practitioner with over 10 years of experience working with the geriatric population both privately and through agencies. I've recently stepped down from my 7 years position as a memory care director of the dementia care department in an assisted living community. I am currently looking to return to private care so that I can devote my full attention to one person. I've worked with people from all walks of life and ethnicities. If you are looking for an expert, someone who is extremely passionate about what they do, you have come to the right profile. I am available to begin middle of July and would be delighted to be your loved one's companion. It feels great to know that I'm using all the skills and knowledge I've gained over the years to help others. Michelle is a stellar caregiver. She is a trustworthy soul. Whenever she’s around, it’s the happiest we’ve seen our dad in a very long time. She’s like a part of our family just by the way she treats him with patience, respect and care. And with her background in the medical field, she correlates with nurses that comes in very well. Sometimes his nurses are surprised by her usage of knowledge and that makes us feel safe to have Michelle around our dad. I definitely would recommend her to others though we would want her to ourselves lol.
