About Michelle

Hey! My name is Michelle, I am an upcoming sophomore in college, majoring in Biomedical sciences and enterprise with the goal of becoming a pediatrician. My passion for working with kids started at an early age. As the oldest sibling, I was taking care of my younger siblings at the age of 12. As I got older I started babysitting for family and family friends, which eventually led to my first job at a afterschool daycare program at an elementary school for 2 years. During my time I gained valuable experience working with children of all ages, including those with special needs. I often helped de-escalate situations when a child felt overwhelmed or overstimulated, and I learned how to create a calm, supportive environment for them. One thing to know about me is that I truly care about people and I approach every situation with understanding and patience, especially when working with children. I am also BLS certified (CPR&AED)
