About Michelle

Hello! I am excited to utilize the skills I gained while teaching preschool, in my nannying. I enjoy observing children in their play to better understand them and their life. I also prioritize playing with children to build a strong connection built on trust. I am skilled in supporting children during nap time, creating and maintaining boundaries (ex: cleaning up but in a fun way), story telling, and playing (and much more). I like working with kids because I can come to understand them through their play and build a connection with them through playing. I'm looking for a job that is welcoming and like a community. I enjoy open communication and feedback in order to best care for your child and family. I started working with kids when I was 14. I started professional nannying when I was 17. I taught at a Reggio-Emilia preschool for two years and am seeking nanny work while I go to SFSU for their Creative Writing MFA program
