About Michelle

Hello! My name is Michelle and I am an experienced youth development and community wellness professional. I love nature, dancing, reading, animals and traveling. I am a Zumba instructor & aspiring yoga teacher. I have a social work degree from Ball State University and an MPH from IUPUI with a concentration in social and behavioral health of women, youth and families. I have several years of youth development experience and have worked with all age groups, from newborns to teens. This experience includes working in three licensed early childhood centers, 5+ years as a full-time nanny, tutoring, behavioral/emotional skills development, and as a Program Director of an IDOE 21st Century Before/After-School Learning Center. I have been responsible for lesson planning and facilitation of learning activities in all of these roles. I am currently working full time in a women's health organization but I miss working with kiddos! I am open for weeknight bookings and weekends by special request.
