About Michelle

Caring for children has been a part of my life at every stage. While I have not had recent paid childcare work due to being a stay-at-home mother, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience and education in child development. I began babysitting regularly as a teenager and worked in a childcare center at a racquetball club, including in a management role. I hold an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and have completed additional child development coursework toward my bachelor's degree. I have raised three children, now ages 20, 24, and 27, and served as a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader throughout their childhoods. I am patient, calm, and attentive, prioritize safety, and communicate openly with parents. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
