About Michelle

I have been a clinical therapist for 28 years and a large portion of my career was working with children. I currently work part time as a therapist and I'm looking for a part-time nanny position. I have done lot of play therapy. I am very knowledgeable on child development and have taken ongoing trainings. I have been babysitting since the age of 12 and have always loved children! I have a child of my own who is an adult. I was a preschool teacher as well as having infant experience. My specific interest is working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. What is important to me as a nanny? I always want to help promote a positive safe learning environment such as, developing motor skills with fun and play. Routine, consistency, validation of feelings and encouraging to express them in a positive way is also important! Hoping to find a long term position. I am very active and love being in nature walking and hiking. I am a kid at heart and love to be silly and playful!
