About Michelle

I'd describe my personality as supportive, encouraging, and fun! I enjoy learner-led tutoring because it allows me to build on each student's interests while developing skills, confidence, curiosity, and creativity. I've hosted art workshops in Derry, NH since 2018 and have taught online through Outschool since 2020. In 2021, I taught pre-K-8 art at Hampstead Academy. I'm passionate about teaching young people traditional and digital art and design skills they may not encounter in a typical school curriculum. My specialties include drawing fundamentals, digital art techniques, and design principles such as layout, typography, and color theory. I'm also a proud mom of two sons and have always valued fostering curiosity and critical thinking. In my free time, I enjoy creating art, gardening, decorating, exercising, live music, car shows, and my two rescue dogs.
