About Michele

Hello, I have lived in the Coastal Bend for 16 years. I attend church and volunteer my time tutoring struggling readers and working with immigrants coming to our country. I have taught in Corpus Christi for 16 years as an elementary dyslexia facilitator, reading interventionist, technology lab assistant, Kindergarten and first grade teacher. I have worked in public, private and charter schools. I have worked the past 24 years in all grades from PreK to HS, general Ed, special Ed, and 504. Prior to my working in education, I worked as a nursing assistant while attending nursing school. I was employed in home health care along with 3 years in a long term care facility on an Alzheimer's unit. I enjoyed my time working with seniors as much as I enjoy working with young children.
