Worked with an ADHD child for 8 years. I also worked with seniors who has diabetes, dementia, Alzheimer's, blindness & loss of a limb. I can perform blood glucose readings & injections. I worked 4 years with a patient that had a trachea, g-tube( feeding tube), dispensed all his medication thru the g tube. He had short term memory loss and I was there until his death in February, 2018. I am a certified nursing assistant, certified medication administration, certified in CPR, AED and first aid. I have worked many of years in skilled nursing and in patients homes. I have a heart of gold with old fashioned values and excellent references. Michele cared for my disabled husband for 4 years. I was blessed to find her on Care.com. Without any medical training she assisted with some very specific care of a feeding tube and trach. She also assisted with all aspects of his daily life. Personal hygiene, medications and even took him to the gym daily to exercise. Michele truly became a member of our family and was by our side in my husband's final days. She was very flexible with her schedule...often came to work early and was willing to stay later if my job required extra hours. She performed light housekeeping duties so that my husband's room was always clean. Often took it upon herself to do laundry if an accident occurred throughout the day. I would highly recommend her as a compassionate caregiver.
