About Michele

I have been tutoring since 2008 because I love helping students gain confidence and experience those moments when challenging concepts finally click. Teaching is rewarding to me, and I enjoy finding creative ways to help each student learn. I successfully homeschooled my daughter, who went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas. This experience taught me how to adapt to different learning styles and meet students where they are. As a U. S. Army veteran with 24 years of service (16 years Active Duty and 8 years Reserve), I bring reliability, discipline, and dedication to every session. My background in communications has strengthened my problem-solving and teaching skills. My greatest strengths are being resourceful, tenacious, and student-focused. I am willing to learn alongside my students, persist through challenges, and help them build understanding and confidence. Families describe me as innovative, direct, humorous, flexible, and dependable.
