I have experience as a nanny (23+ years) as well as experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher. In addition I have worked as a Family Advocate for an Early Head Start program in which I regularly completed developmental screenings and provided lesson plans and goals to assist parents with providing an emergent curriculum in their home for their own children. I have cared for children from birth to teenagers, but primarily children under the age of seven. I have experience with multiples as well as children with special needs. I’m pleased to recommend Carolie, who cared for our two boys (from age 2 months and 23 months when she started) over the past year. Her warmth, dependability, and creativity made her an exceptional presence in our home. She balanced fun and routine, provided many of her own educational toys, and always showed sensitivity to our children’s needs and adapting to changing schedules as they grew. She was a calming presence for the boys when we had a pretty hectic schedule of home repairs, work in and out of the home, and therapy appointments for our older son. The boys will certainly miss her as we move to another part of the state!
