Carolie has been with our family for 20 months and cared full time for our two young children during her tenure. Carolie has a long history of being in the childcare industry - she worked at larger daycares as well as provided private nanny services to other families in the community. Her experience caring for children of various ages and abilities really showed in her interaction with our children. Carolie is extremely patient, kind, and genuinely caring with the little ones. We have been very happy with Carolie looking after, guiding, and teaching our children. In addition, Carolie stays up-to-date on childhood education and this was reflected in the way she taught and introduced various activities for our children. Especially with our younger one, Carolie proactively rotated through age appropriate books, sensory toys, finger painting, counting, and other educational and interactive materials. She would even go to the library and pick out books she thought our children would enjoy. This was above and beyond what we expected of a nanny role, and my husband and I were so impressed by her level of engagement. My husband and I also appreciated Carolie sharing her professional insights. She made great suggestions on activities to do with the children and provided helpful childcare related advice. At the end of each day, Carolie would update us on the daily activities and anything we needed to keep an eye out for. We appreciated Carolie’s transparency and communication style. We were able to discuss things and provide feedback openly, which made working with Carolie very easy. Carolie was flexible, understanding, and willing to accommodate our family’s evolving needs.
