I started doing dishes standing on a chair when I was 5. My baby brother was born when I was 12 & REAL chores kicked in besides helping with dishes, and I was able to earn an allowance! I had 3 children between '85 & '92. I ran a BnB for a decade in 2000. I also cared for exchange students from Brazil & South Korea. I've always run a tight ship & rarely use a dishwasher, preferring to hand-wash. I am known for being OCD when it comes to filling the dishwasher and doing laundry; stains hate me! Organizing is like a past-time! The best thing about opening the closets & under the sink(s) is knowing exactly where things are & where they get returned to! I have moved more than the average bear & pack like a professional, wrap furniture & mark boxes appropriately. I also know how to fill a storage unit to utilize the space sufficiently!
