About Michela

Growing up, I have had an older sister with special needs. She was born with no ability to walk or talk and has always needed individualized special care and attention. My sister has Cerebral Palsy with the needs of an infant. I have spent my life caring for her and being one of her main caregivers. Before COVID hit, I spent 2 and 1/2 years babysitting for a family in Cresskill with 2 kids ages 12&10. This consisted of after-school pick-ups, homework help, and sports activities. In my spare time, I work out and eat healthy daily, I've been bodybuilding for the last 7 years. As a kid, I always took part in theater programs and loved spending time writing, singing, performing, learning, and enjoying time with family and friends. In May 2020, I graduated from Bergen Community College with my Associate's Degree in Honors. I currently attend Ramapo College to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and my Master's Degree in Special Education next spring to become a teacher.
