Having two younger brothers, caregiving has always come natural to me. By age 12, I began watching them when my parents went out for the evening. Once I got my driver's license, I found myself picking them up from friends houses and making them a snack after school. At 18, after graduating high school, I took on a M-F full time nanny gig for an 8-month-old baby girl and her 7-year-old sister. I was their primary caregiver for 8 years. I now work at a restaurant M-TH evenings so I'm looking to fill my days and weekends. I soon want kids of my own but, until then, I'd love to care for others' kiddos to fill the void.
