About Michael

I'd describe my personality as reliable, easy-going, and patient. I like working with kids because I enjoy their energy and personalities, and I like being someone they can look up to. Coaching and mentoring taught me how rewarding it is to help kids build confidence, learn new things, and have fun at the same time. I also enjoy staying active and keeping kids engaged instead of just sitting around on screens all day. I'm looking for a flexible and positive job where I can build good relationships with families and create a fun, safe environment for kids. I started working with kids in high school through mentoring elementary-aged students and continued throughout college while coaching different sports for kids from 3rd through 12th grade. In my spare time, I enjoy sports, flying airplanes, traveling, volunteering, musical theater, working out, and spending time outdoors. As a pilot, coach, and mentor, I'm very safety-focused, calm under pressure, and good at communication.
