I have been a caregiver for five years. My last job was caring for someone with type 1 diabetes, dementia, who was HIV positive and experienced seizures. I was there 24/7, handling all care needs including cooking, cleaning, changing, administering medications, pet care, ordering supplies and coordinating all visits. I have lifetime experience understanding and helping those with unique conditions, starting in grade school tutoring in special education and volunteering often in classes for those with special needs. I practice positive and patient support with complete devotion to those I care for.
