About Michaela

I love working with kids because it allows me to witness childlike creativity and joy. I feel like we all long for the happiness of being a kid, so working with them gives me the opportunity to connect with that happiness. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old. While still being a kid, I volunteered with my cities Parks and Recreation Department during the summer time, where I eventually got hired at 17 as a counselor. At 19 I was promoted to an Assistant Director and by 20 I was promoted again to a Co-Director of a summer youth program. In my spare time, I do community theater locally as well as play guitar.
