About Michaela

Michaela began babysitting for us when my children were infants and on up. Michaela handled caring for multiple children of different ages and navigating the sibling dynamics with great skill and caring. We appreciated that she was engaged with them and what they were doing but didn't over-manage their play. She helped them with lots of different kinds of play from crafts, to reading, to playing at the park, to building forts in the living room. Her demeanor was laid back but firm when needed. As the kids grew, she adjusted her interactions with the older kids accordingly. She followed through on our house rules and was good at interpreting how we would want to respond to situations. She communicated well with my husband and myself about how the days went and what questions she had. She worked with us during times when our schedule was changing and was dependable. I would strongly recommend Michaela to other parents!
