About Michaela

Hello! My name is Michaela. I am a recent graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with an Elementary Education minor. For the past year I have worked as a first grade teaching assistant at Academy in Westminster where I was given the knowledge on how to educate students in reading, writing, math, and social sciences. Before that, in college, I worked at the Downtown Aquarium as a birthday host where it was my goal to give a child their most memorable birthday. I have worked with children for 8 years now and love watching them learn and grow which is a large reason why I am so passionate about education. I am very reliable and organized while keeping spirits bright. I strive to create a fun and welcoming environment because it allows for children to be more comfortable in their surroundings. I like to have fun and make sure there is learning in the process and I look forward to using it with your little ones.
