I have a variety of experience with people with special needs. I part-time nanny a little one with Down Syndrome. I also part-time nanny a little one who is deaf. I'm not fluent in American Sign Language, but I'm always learning more. I also babysit children who have Autism. While in College, I took several classes related to Disability Studies. When I was in high school, I was a Student Helper in the Special Education Classes. I love to learn and am attentive at following directions. I have experience with kids with allergies and am cautious about what I consume in their presence and am diligent about reading labels. I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I know a little bit of American Sign Language due to nannying the little one with Down Syndrome. I'm always learning more as she grows as well.
