About Micah

Hi, I'm Micah, a professional nanny in Frederick! I have over 10 years of experience caring for children from 6 months through elementary age, including kids with special needs like autism, ADHD, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and severe allergies. I've cared for 8+ local families, including a two-year part-time nanny role. I'm CPR certified, studying Education at Frederick Community College, and have completed Child Development coursework. I have a clean driving record and my own SUV for school runs. I believe kids thrive on routines with room for play and exploration. I use clear communication, positive reinforcement, and natural consequences, and I look for the need behind a child's behavior. I love building independence through problem solving, and I'm experienced in potty training, sleep training, homework help, and light housekeeping. In my free time, I love traveling with my fiancé, reading, and fiber arts!
