About Micah

I am a mother of 3. In various stages mine were homeschooled in order to reach their goals. I deeply understand the struggle. Teaching is an act of love. It requires patience and absolute devotion to the childs future. A tutors role is to be another voice, often times echoing what the parent has already explained. I have worked as a primary school substitute teacher focused in Special Education. My goal is to assist young children who are learning the fundamentals skills in math and english. I believe every child must feel safe and supported to truly thrive. My approach focuses on building confidence through personalized engaging instruction. Having spent time assisting students with special needs, I find deep fulfillment in helping someone overcome an emotional or cognitive block. We meet at your home, the library, or a coffee shop. I look forward to growing alongside your child and celebrating every milestone we achieve together.
