About Mica

Hi! I'm Mica, a college student who's been working with kids for about three years, and honestly it's my favorite thing to do. Right now I'm an afterschool instructor and site supervisor at an elementary school, and in the summers I coach gymnastics and ninja classes and work as a camp counselor. So I'm used to busy, high-energy kids and I love it. I'm comfortable with kids ages 1 to 12 and can watch up to three at a time. My go-tos are getting outside for sports and games, puzzles, and crafts, basically anything that keeps them moving and learning without feeling like school. I've also taken human development classes, so I really think about how kids learn and grow, and it's the best feeling when I see them actually use something we worked on together. Spanish was my first language, and I'm fluent in both English and Spanish. I can help with meals, light cleanup, and travel. I'll keep you updated however works best for you, whether that's texts, photos, or a quick recap at pickup.
