About Mia

Hi! My name is Mia, and I'm a Criminal Justice major with a minor in Women's Studies at UTEP. My goal is to work with children as a forensic psychologist, specializing in cases involving women and children. I've worked with kids through my church's Kids Ministry, as a Brand Ambassador for GECU, and by helping care for my (almost)2-year-old niece since she was 5 months old. These experiences have deepened my passion for creating safe, nurturing spaces where children feel supported and engaged. I'm looking for a babysitting or nanny role to gain hands-on experience that aligns with my career goals. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I bring patience, creativity, and strong communication to every interaction. I love planning fun, screen-free activities that spark imagination and outdoor play. I'm often described as bubbly, kind-hearted, and calm. In my free time, I enjoy reading, swimming, working out, and playing with my kitten, Walter!
