About Mia

I'd describe my personality as positive, creative, and organized! :) I like working with kids because I love their energy and their excitement about life brings me so much joy! I've been working with young kids since I was 12 in my mom's classroom because she's a Montessori teacher and it's always been something I have loved! In my spare time, I like to read a lot, listen to music, hike, and volunteer at my mom's Montessori school! One thing you should know about me is that I come from a family of educators and early childhood professionals so I have always been immersed in that world and done jobs like babysitting! Those experiences have definitely inspired my career path of pediatric speech pathology! I'd say my top 3 childcare skills are building quick rapport with children, encouraging creative play, and understanding and empathy!
