About Miaotian

Hi! I'm Miaotian -- little ones call me Miss Mia. I teach joyful private music classes for toddlers and preschoolers: singing, movement, rhythm instruments, and stories with sounds, in short blocks made for little ones. I studied music education in college, and violin is my instrument. I taught music and English to young children for many years, in China and on Saipan, and I worked in a daycare with babies and toddlers. I'm also a mom of 5-year-old twins. I can teach at your home, or at my home in Lynnfield -- after our move in December, I'll have a room ready for classes. A parent is always welcome to stay nearby. It's a great way to bond with your child. I teach on weekday mornings and midday, while my twins are at school. I'd love to meet you and your little one briefly first, to learn what they like and how they move, and design the class accordingly. Thank you for reading!
