About Mia

Hi! My name is Mia, and I am an 18-year-old senior at SUA. Since my sophomore year, I have worked as a tutor at the Bulldog Academic Resource Center, where I support underclassmen by helping them with homework, reviewing class material, and preparing for tests. I especially enjoy breaking down challenging concepts into manageable steps, teaching effective study strategies, and helping students build confidence in their academic abilities. Through taking over eight AP courses and maintaining strong academic performance, I have developed a solid foundation across subjects that allows me to tutor with both knowledge and patience. My academic dedication has also led to acceptance into multiple prestigious colleges and competitive programs, reflecting my commitment to learning. I strive to create a positive environment where students feel supported and motivated, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch them improve, succeed, and take pride in their progress.
