About Mia

Hi families! My name is Mia and I'm a recent graduate from San Jose State University. I have my Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development, with a focus on Early Childhood Education. I have previous experience working in child care as a student teacher in an infant/toddler classroom, but I was commonly requested to fill in when there weren't enough teachers in the preschool classroom. Courses throughout my time in college, which required me to work directly with children ages 3 to 5, equipped me with additional skills necessary to work with preschool-age children, although I'm open to all ages! Working with children is my passion, as I love seeing their minds at work as they try to make sense of the world around them and giving them the necessary support to reach their goals. I'd love to be a positive influence in your child's upbringing. :)
