About Mia

My name is Mia, I am 22 and just graduated from university with a BS in Global Business! I have been involved in childcare for many years. I have three siblings and lots of younger cousins. I also regularly babysat and supervised kids through volunteering, part-time work, and in daycares. I even au pair abroad! Most recently I have been with a family routinely while in university, and traveled out of state to assist a family. I've cared for children as young as 5 months to 12 years old and have learned a lot from each of my roles. My grandmother has a Waldorf teaching background, so those values inspire the way I approach childcare. I am responsible, patient and kind. I am also a private individual, so I respect that for families, discretion and trust are important. Outside of childcare, I love cooking, usually healthy and simple meals. I enjoy traveling abroad-I just returned from Palau-and I've lived with pets my whole life, so I'm very comfortable with them too. Thank you!
