About Mia

Hi! I'm Mia and I am currently an honors student for Psychology and Women's and Gender Studies. In high school I was a part of the National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society), and International Thespian Honor Society. I graduated as Valedictorian with a 103. 2 GPA, and received 5's on 9 of my AP exams (AP Human Geography, AP World History, AP Psychology, AP Seminar, AP English Literature, AP United States History, AP Government, AP Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB) and a 4 on AP English Language. I also volunteered as a virtual SAT Reading and Writing Tutor for Schoolhouse, I utilized the provided curriculum to educate those in my session about English Language concepts and SAT tips and facilitate discussions based on the material. When tutoring, I aim to maintain a welcoming environment for my students, allowing them to be comfortable asking questions about parts of the material they found difficult.
