About Mia

Hello! My name is Mia. I have 8 years of childcare experience (ranging from toddlers to age 15) and I graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of La Verne with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. I have 2 years of experience as a research assistant at Pomona College and Claremont McKenna College where I studied children's emotions, attachments, and relationships. I have a passion for helping children understand, label, and manage their emotions, as well as foster their creativity and sense of self. My approach is organized, patient, and warm.
