About Mia

Hi! I'm Mia and I would love to help your family with your childcare needs. My experience has been primarily with my 9-year-old sister who I've spent lots of time caring for over the years, as well as in my church where I worked with kids from ages 3 months up to middle school age. I've also been a lifeguard/swim teacher, camp counselor, and babysitter for my family and friends. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, attentive, and kind. I like working with kids because they bring so much genuine curiosity and joy into the world! One thing you should know about me is that I'm a graduate student at Columbia University, so I cannot work full-time but I have availability most mornings or evenings, including weekends. My skills include patience, empathy, and understanding. I am CPR and first aid certified.
