About Miah

Nurturing children and supporting families is truly my passion. My years of experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, have solidified my desire to positively impact their lives. Within my 3 years of experience, my former position had been in an asylum family shelter, where I was responsible for fostering an empathetic, caring environment for residents by assisting with housing applications, tutoring and teaching children English. I'm patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy everything from outdoor sports to board games and educational activities. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time and will always follow your lead when it comes to household rules. I communicate with parents using written daily reports or your preferred method. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. I speak both English and Spanish and I am very comfortable with pets.
