About Mia

I am an experienced educator with a background in special education and literacy development, and I have worked with children of all ages from infants through high school. My teaching has shown me the importance of meeting children where they are, celebrating their strengths, and supporting their unique ways of learning. While I am not formally trained in Montessori or Reggio Emilia, I enjoy drawing from both philosophies to create environments where children can explore, ask questions, and develop independence. I believe that learning does not just happen in the classroom. It happens everywhere. I love designing disguised learning opportunities that weave educational growth into play, everyday routines, and creative activities. Families can count on me to bring warmth, reliability, and a deep love for helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
