About Mia

Hi there! My name is Mia, and I am a UC Berkeley undergrad student studying to become a high school teacher. I have a passion for working with children of all ages, striving to foster a supportive environment where children can express themselves, explore their interests, and have fun while receiving the guidance they need. I enjoy staying active through yoga, hiking, and going to the gym. I also love creative hobbies such as sewing and painting. Qualifications • Experience working in educational settings with children from toddlers to 14 years old (since 2019) • Experience in both early childhood and middle school education • 6 months of student teaching experience • CPR and First Aid Certified Availability • Weekday afternoons and evenings • Full availability on weekends (days and nights) I also have a year of experience in house and pet sitting, including caring for dogs with daily feeding and walks, maintaining pet areas, watering plants, housekeeping, and securing the home.
