About Mia

I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. That's why I'm studying elementary education at UMass and currently working as a paraprofessional at a public school. This summer, I'm seeking a childcare position. As a patient, calm, and friendly caregiver, I ensure children feel safe and comfortable in my care. I enforce household rules with ease and keep parents informed about their child's day through daily reports and verbal communication at pickup. With the kiddos, I enjoy playing educational games, high motor activities outside and making art projects. With my educational background and experience, I'm comfortable caring for up to three children between the ages of 0 and 11. For two years I worked in afterschool and day camp programs for children ages 5-11, and have babysat multiple infants and children ages 0-5. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and have CPR and First Aid certifications. I look forward to meeting you and caring for your children!
