About Mia

Hi! My name is Mia. I'm a final-year medical student from Ireland and will be graduating as a doctor next year. I'm spending the summer in New York and am available for babysitting, pet sitting, and dog walking. Caring for others is what led me to pursue medicine. Through my medical training, I have developed strong skills in responsibility, communication, and staying calm under pressure. I am CPR and First Aid trained and always prioritize safety. I enjoy working with children and creating a fun, positive, and safe environment while respecting each family's routines and parenting style. I am also a huge animal lover with extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats. I am comfortable caring for large and small dogs, including feeding, walking, overnight care, and administering basic medications. For added peace of mind, I have completed Garda Vetting in Ireland (equivalent to a U. S. criminal background check) and can provide proof upon request. References are also available.
