About Mia

I have over three years of experience in childcare and nannying. I recently spent a year working at Maddie Washburn and have continued nannying for several families since then. I attend college in person once a week, so I have a flexible schedule the rest of the time. I'm very organized, creative, and love planning fun activities like going on walks, visiting parks, playing with chalk, and finding ways to make each day enjoyable for the kids. I'm also great at helping with homework, whether it's math, reading, or writing. I'd describe my personality as patient, outgoing, and caring. I love doing fun activities with kids whether it's playing outside, going on walks, coloring, or finding simple ways to keep them engaged instead of just watching TV. I can be a little shy at first, but once I get comfortable with a family, my outgoing and fun side really shows. I'm also very understanding and always try to put others first, especially the families and kids I care for.
