About Mia

Hi! My name is Mia, and I have over three years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants as young as 6 weeks old to school-aged children. I have worked in professional childcare settings as well as with families, giving me experience supporting children's developmental milestones while creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. I have completed 12 Early Childhood Education units and am currently pursuing a degree in Education. I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and encouraging independence through play and daily routines. I understand the importance of open communication, consistency, and building trusting relationships with both children and parents. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have reliable transportation, and am happy to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, children's laundry, and keeping play areas organized.
