About Mia

Hi! I am a civil engineering student at Arizona State University with a passion for helping kids gain confidence in learning. I have worked with kids from kindergarten to high school as a math tutor as well as in childcare for several years. I specialize in math, science, study skills, and general homework support. I love helping students find strategies that make learning fun and approachable. In addition to academics, I am also an advanced piano player with over a decade of experience, including university-level piano and music theory coursework and participation in both state and national piano competitions. I offer beginner to intermediate piano lessons and music-theory tutoring. I am available Fridays through Sundays for tutoring and lessons in the Scottsdale, Tempe, Downtown Phoenix area and I'm excited to help students learn, grow, and discover their potential!
