About Mia

Hi I'm Mia and I am 20 years old, going into my junior year of college at The Ohio State University. I am looking for a summer job and I enjoy working with children and am really looking forward to working with local families this summer! I grew up the youngest of 3 girls and went to Sacred Heart Academy. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, funny, and organized. I started working with kids when I was a camp counselor at the sleep-away camp I had gone to my whole life. I lived in a cabin with another counselor and cared for girls age 8-12. We had days filled with activities, I kept the daily schedule and kept things organized, and was a role model the campers could count on. I like working with kids because I enjoy having fun and being a role model at the same time. It's really rewarding to be someone they can trust and look up to. My skills include staying on schedule and organized, keeping kids busy with activities, and creating a fun and safe environment!
