When I had my twins—my first children—Mery came into our lives at exactly the moment we needed her most. Returning to work was one of the hardest transitions of my life, and the thought of leaving my babies with someone else filled me with fear and guilt. That first day was emotional… but it was also the last day I ever felt that way, because Mery quickly became more than a babysitter—she became family. Mery loved my children as if they were her own. The care, patience, and affection she poured into them was something you don’t easily find. She didn’t just watch them—she nurtured them, protected them, and helped shape who they were becoming. She guided them through important milestones and celebrated every little achievement as if it were her own child’s success. She played a huge role in keeping my children bilingual, speaking Spanish to them daily and helping them grow confident in both languages. She taught them how to eat, drink, speak, and express themselves. Potty training—something I had so much anxiety about—was smooth and successful because of her dedication and consistency. Before they even stepped into kindergarten, my children already knew their alphabet, numbers, and how to write their names. They would come home so proud, excited to show me their artwork, their new games, and everything they had learned that day. Seeing their joy reassured me over and over again that I had made the right choice. With Mery, I never felt like I was missing moments in my children’s lives—I felt supported. I knew in my heart that when my kids were with her, they were safe, loved, and cared for just as deeply as if they were with me. Today, my children have been honor roll students since kindergarten and are now in fifth grade, still thriving academically. I truly believe that Mery played a powerful role in building their foundation—not just academically, but emotionally—and in showing them the value and love of learning through her own example. I will always recommend Mery to any new mother who struggles with the fear of leaving their child with someone new. She is responsible, knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated—but what truly makes her special is her heart. Her love for children and education is undeniable. She continues to educate herself in child development and applies thoughtful, age-appropriate techniques that truly work. I was always amazed by her ability to create calm, structure, and harmony—seeing newborns and toddlers all napping peacefully at the same time was nothing short of impressive. Mery changed my life. She gave me peace during one of the most vulnerable seasons of motherhood, and I honestly don’t know how I would have done it without her. She will forever be a part of our family’s story, and I will always be grateful for the love she gave my children.
