I am dependable, kind, loving, nurturing, and have reliable transportation. I always listen to the parents' needs and keep them in the loop as to how the day is going. I am attentive to the child/children's needs. I was with a family for over 6 years. Those boys are like my grandchildren. I still see them regularly. I can provide excellent references!

Meryl has been great with our autistic son. He has trouble communicating his needs and she is so patient with him. She's also very in tune with him and knows when he isn't feeling well and communicates that with us. She arrives on time (early actually) and is very flexible with last minute schedule changes. She's been with us 5 days a week for about a month now, and we hope to have her for a long time.

Meryl is an excellent nanny!
She has taken wonderful care of our infant daughter for over an month, and our baby really enjoys being in her company. Meryl actively engages with her throughout the day, and plays inside and outside with a lot of variety. She's calm when things get fussy and always communicates by asking the right questions. Meryl also follows our requested care style, and shares with us her helpful experience and advice as needed.
Another great thing about Meryl is that she consistently works with us to accommodate sudden schedule changes. She is not only flexible, but very reliable and responsible. Additionally, we have a very temperamental cat that's usually difficult with strangers, but Meryl and her get along well, with Meryl even feeding her every day. We cannot recommend Meryl's nanny service enough, it's been a pleasure working with her so far, and we look forward to the future time spent with her caring for our baby daughter!

We hired Meryl just a few weeks ago for child care and pet care, she is wonderful. 
She is always on time, in fact she arrives early. She is very dependable and reliable. 
My kids love her already, she gets on the floor and plays with them and interacts with them the whole time she is with them. I have two boys and they can be difficult at times but Meryl has been great with them! We also have two very active dogs and she has been great with them too. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for child care or pet care. 

Meryl is a true GEM. For 4 months in 2016, while I taught at URI during the fall semester, Meryl took care of our two very active children (11 and 12) in the afternoons after school and of our sweet, old, special-needs dog. Not only is Meryl clearly very experienced in raising both children and pets, she is also kind, caring, honest, firm but not strict, and listens very carefully and attentively to what you say and therefore remembers the most minute details of instructions you've given! She is proactive (often reminded me in advance of calendar items I had already forgotten about, like early-release days at school), and she is super trustworthy, reliable and responsible. She was more than punctual each day - she actually arrived early so she wouldn't be in a rush. Meryl was also flexible and accommodating and, if her work schedule allowed, helped us out on a moment's notice if we unexpectedly needed child or pet care. To sum up: 5 stars for Meryl! I highly recommend her!!!

We hired Meryl when we needed someone to care for our sick son. We never met Meryl until the morning she came to watch our son and we were very pleased. Meryl was in time and our son loved her. Our son said "I like how Meryl always has something for me to do". She would ask if he was bored and then had suggestions if things they could do. She got down in the floor and colored with him and played. So happy we found her.

I had a great feeling about Meryl from the moment we spoke on the phone. She is always early and usually helps remind me about things that need to be done. I have never had concern about her not showing up to care for my kids or get them off the bus. She is flexible with things that I ask her to do. She helps transport my kids to and from activities, helps them with their homework, and takes care of meals. I am happy that a found such a dependable caretaker for my children!

We hired Meryl to take care of our 3 very active children before school.  She arrives early everyday, immediately starts taking care of them, and puts them safely on the bus with full bellies and smiles on their faces.  She is always patient and never raises her voice, yet is perfectly stern enough.  We love having Meryl here as part of our family.  Our morning routine couldn't be any smoother, and we owe it all to her!
