I'm a 68-year-old woman and live in Huntingdon Valley. I'm looking for part-time work in the afternoon and occasional evening. I'm very outgoing, patient, a good listener and have an easy time connecting with people. I completed a background check, child abuse clearance and fingerprinting in 2016, when I worked for a year as a van driver for the UMSD. I greatly enjoyed working with the kids, which included special needs. Most of my babysitting experience was as a teenager and in my 20's. Five years ago I babysat two boys for two years. I've been told kids and animals are drawn to me because of my soothing voice. I'd much rather do something interactive than have them play video games or watch videos. In the nicer weather it's fun to go outside and throw a ball around. The last time I watched a teenager we played basketball and he was greatly impressed with my skills.
