About Merry

I have babysat and nannied for over two decades off and on. My passion stems from seeing children learn and thrive. I hold an undergraduate degree in social work from VCU with minors in psychology and religious studies and a graduate degree in social work from Columbia University and have completed Early Child Development Coursework. I am also certified in CPR Training. I may need to have that renewed. Parents appreciate my patient and friendly demeanor. I provide regular updates on your child's day, communicating in the way that works best for you. I am comfortable caring for multiple children across all age groups including infancy. I happily follow your household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I'm also glad to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and crafts. Ultimately, I hope to be someone you can rely on to care for your children. I'm the youngest of 10 also caring for numerous nieces and nephews as they've grown.
