About Merry

For the last 7 years I have worked for in home care. I have regular scheduled shifts that I would help the elderly with dressing, bathing, manicures and pedicures, wash and style hair, preparing meals, light housekeeping such as making bed, doing dishes and washing clothes, take them shopping, doctor appointments and any errands they had to run and companionship. I am 67yrs old. I love to be active, walk my dog and spend as much time with my family as possible. I have lived in Colorado Springs for the past 38 yrs. My family was military so I have lived in Colorado Springs on and off most of my life as my dad was stationed here at Peterson Air Force Base . I have 3 grown children (all live here) and 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. I have always been a giving and caring person that loves helping others. Full time work would be perfect for me. I love working with the elderly. Love to listen to their stories about their lives.

My 91 year old mother watches the clock until Merry arrives in the mornings. She enjoys and appreciates the food Merry prepares, the walks they go on, and the help with bathing and dressing. Merry’s help with my mom, has freed me up to tend to my own needs. When I go to bed at night, I sleep well knowing my mom is in good hands.
