About Meriel

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and enthusiastic. I like working with kids because they are so open-minded, creative, and unjudgmental. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help build confidence, creativity, athleticism, and self-worth in the kids for whom I care. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I was a nanny for several years and also a kindergarten teacher for 6 years. In my spare time, I like to backpack, ski, do artwork, travel, volunteer, dance, cook, read, ride horses, and spend time with my family and dogs. One thing you should know about me is that I'm honest and dependable. My skills include patience, boundary setting, and being a good role model.
