About Mere

Nurturing young minds is truly my passion. My positive experiences babysitting sparked a desire to positively impact kid's lives, and I have two years of experience caring for children aged 4 and up. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. Communication with parents is very important to me, so I usually give updates at pickup or over text. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules, as I don't want to overstep my role as a babysitter. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I actively attend Northern Michigan University and am studying secondary education math and Spanish. When it comes to household responsibilities I am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I also have a car and am comfortable with pets. I speak both English and Spanish. I look forward to bringing my skills and enthusiasm to your family!
