I worked in childcare at UT Austin's child development center for 2. 9 years as a student assistant. I worked with kids ages 7 weeks - 6 years old using conscious discipline. I work as a Sunday school 1st grade teacher for my church and absolutely love my class! I am finishing my degree and obtaining a Pk-3 generalist degree with a bilingual certification! Working with kids has healed me in ways I didn't think I needed to be healed. They remind me to connect with my inner child and I have learned different way to view life because of them. Children are such a gift to this world! Being able to create a safe space for them is my top priority and it's a privilege to do so. I am comfortable with dogs and have owned two! My first baby Belle (50-56lb) who has passed and my current dog Lenteja (4. 5lb Chihuahua) .

Mere, has been such an amazing team player and a quality student teacher. She was so enthusiastic and engaging with all the children in the various ages she worked with! As her previous supervior at a high-quality center demonstrated what we expecte for our children and families which is providing high-quality in all areas. She embodies it naturally. I would highly recommend mend her to any program or family.
