I am a TA in an AU 2 classroom, and am in my second year doing so. I am NCI, or North Carolina Intervention, certified, which is a form of therapeutic restraint designed to maintain safety. I have also worked for Camp Lakey Gap, a camp for Autistic individuals, where I was trained using the TEACCH behavior modification methods in connection with the UNC Chapel Hill TEACCH program. I plan on getting my Masters in Intervention to further my education and my career educating people with special needs.
